Tallahassee, Florida - September 28, 2011 -
This Friday and Saturday, Super-Lube is teaming up with the
Big Bend Homeless Coalition to raise funds to help people who are homeless in Tallahassee. For every full service oil change at participating locations, Super-Lube will donate $3 to the Homeless Coalition. The event takes place at Super-Lube locations at 2317 Apalachee Parkway and 3971 West Tennessee Street, on Friday 8AM to 7PM, and Saturday 8AM to 5PM.
"What a wonderful gift from a great local business!" said Susan Pourciau, Executive Director of the Homeless Coalition. "Every night we provide housing and services to more than 200 children, men, and women who are homeless in our community. Super-Lube is making a real difference - the proceeds will help people get out of homelessness and move back into stable living."
Alicia A. Seiverth, Market Coordinator with Super-Lube,
said, "Super-Lube is a Tallahassee business that knows how important it is to help great organizations like the Homeless Coalition. They work hard every day helping people and making our community better."
In addition to raising funds and generating hope, the events at the Apalachee Parkway and West Tennessee Street Super-Lubes will include refreshments. Representatives from the Homeless Coalition will be on hand to answer questions to customers getting an oil change who are also helping others make a life change.
