Tallahassee, Florida - November 3, 2011 -
Just in time for the holiday travel season, curbside valet parking is now available at the Tallahassee Regional Airport (TLH). Republic Parking System, the current operator of parking services, this week began offering curbside valet as an option for airport customers.
"The City Commission believes air service, economic development near the airport and enhancing services available to customers are key priorities,” said City Commissioner Gil Ziffer. "This new customer focused amenity is one more step in the right direction."
Valet parking is located curbside on the south side of the terminal adjacent to sky cap services and is available daily until the arrival of the last flight of the night with no reservation necessary. Customers can simply drive up to the booth, located only a few steps from airline ticketing, and check their vehicle with the valet. Upon their return, the customer will find their vehicle curbside ready and waiting.
Customers can take advantage of this convenient new service for a reasonable price. The cost for using valet parking is $10 for the first eight hours and $20 for up to 24 hours. Beyond 24 hours, the fee will be calculated using the same time increments. Additional information can be obtained by calling Republic Parking Services at 850-576-6043 or toll free at 1-877-406-6043.
“The Airport will continue to offer the best customer service amenities in the market and is considering other improvements for the parking customer,” said Sunil Harman, Director of Aviation. "We want to offer our customers choices that make the journey easy, and this service is ideal for customers who want ultimate convenience.”
