WCTV, the #1 rated television station in North Florida and South Georgia announces changes to its management team. Nick Waller, President & GM for WCTV, as well as Regional Vice President for Gray Television Inc. (parent company of WCTV), has been promoted to Senior Vice President of the Mid-Atlantic and South regions for Gray Television. Waller had served as President and General Manager of WCTV since 2003 and Regional Vice President since 2005. During his tenure, WCTV has consistently been the top rated television station in the Tallahassee market and one of the best performing CBS Affiliates in the country. Mr. Waller is a Director of the Florida Association of Broadcasters.
Heather Peeples has been promoted from General Sales Manager to Vice President and General Manager, replacing Mr. Waller. Ms. Peeples began her career in broadcasting in 1989 at WTLH in Tallahassee. She also held various sales roles for Quad Cities Radio Group in Iowa and WFLI-TV in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Heather joined WCTV in 1999 as an Account Executive. Over the next several years, she was promoted to Local Sales Manager and then General Sales Manager. She has been a key factor in the success of WCTV, and is committed to continue the Station’s key role in serving this community.
