Washington, DC -
On Thursday, Oct. 7 at 11:30AM ET AFL-CIO President Richard L. Trumka will unveil a new online database that details the impact of outsourcing on American jobs.
The joint project of Working America and the AFL-CIO
will detail job loss, safety violations and discrimination cases
searchable by zip code. This first-of-its-kind database will be the
largest publicly available and fully searchable database, housing
information on more than 400,000 corporations and subsidiaries,
including details on which have shipped American jobs overseas and
violated workers' rights.
AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka and Working America Executive Director Karen Nussbaum will walk through the new data available that will now be easily accessible to the public and experts alike. They will point to faulty trade and tax policies that have resulted in systemic outsourcing despite record-breaking CEO salaries and bonuses.
Webinar and Call to unveil Job Tracker, first-of-its-kind database on outsourcing data, health and safety violations, labor violations and more.
