Tallahassee FL-Local Heroes were honored tonight at a local shopping store just in time for the holidays.

Madison County Sheriff's Office Deputy Randy Jansch shopped at Bass Pro Shops Sunday for the event and said, "It's nice to know that somebody wants to thank us because a lot of times we don't get thanked we get....You know? Looked down upon."

That's why Bass Pro Shops decided to recognize local heroes Sunday by welcoming Firefighters, paramedics, law enforcement, military and veterans to enjoy a night dedicated to them and their families.

"This is just one of the ways we can show our appreciation for everything that they do," explained Bass Pro Shops Merchandise manager Daniel Quebedeaux.

With prizes and a ten percent discount, Bass Pro Shops in Tallahassee worked to make all those who serve the community feel welcomed and appreciated. Even Santa Claus Showed his support for all the families who stopped by.
