Black Bear Spotted in Local County

Madison County, FL -- June 13, 2012 --

Several people in Madison County say they spotted a black bear.

It was seen near the old Madison Middle school, just feet away from homes.

One viewer told us they believe the bear was about 6'11".

There is no word yet if it was caught.

Officials caution - although they're fascinating creatures - don't get too close.
