LIVE: Gas Prices on the Rise 3-26 Noon

Tallahassee, Florida - March 26, 2012 -

Gas prices are once again on the rise one survey says Chicago had the highest price for any city at $4.58 a gallon, but prices in Tallahassee aren't exactly cheap either.

Regular is about $3.81 a gallon in Tallahassee. That's up here locally nearly 5 cents per gallon from where prices stood just a week ago, but it's still lower than the national average. Gasbuddy.com has that at about $3.86 per gallon for regular.

These prices are nearly 27 cents higher today than they were just one year ago in Tallahassee, and are 13 cents higher than they were a month ago. That's 21 straight days we have seen the national average of a gallon of gas rise at the pumps.

However, Gas Buddy says there is some good news with these rising prices. They say that seeing prices rise so quickly could mean prices are beginning to peak and that's something motorist have been saying they hope happens soon.
