Duh...Obama begs the Saudi's to increase their supply while shutting down our own safe supplies???? Are you better off now than 3 years ago? Nah..Just wait for Obamas increased flexibility IF he gets elected and doesn't have to worry about re-election. Just as General Patton studied books on Rommels tank tactics in order to defeat him..Obama studied the constitution to be able to get around it..think about it. The handwriting is on the walls, look at his instructions to the EPA to fine, harrass, and hobble the energy sector after Cap and Trade(Tax) was defeated by Congree...Nuff said..check your history.

No, I remember quite well. Here's one example..."Back in 2008 then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) knew where she wanted to place the blame for high gas prices. “The price of oil is at the doorstep -- 4 dollars plus per gallon for oil, is attributed to two oil men in the White House,” Pelosi said in a CNN interview on July 17th, 2008."

the main distibutors of the gas rigs need to higher their min. requirement that the sub gas company have to take out every year. the sub companies are pumping the min. and making us pay higher prices. we have enough gas to last another 100 years or so. the only reason we are being charged this much is so all of our higher goverment personel that have stock in these companies can make more money. we should not be paying over $2.50 a gal for any gas at the pump.

How you deal with your expenses in your business is your problem. You are the one who made your decisions based on a readily available supply of cheap fuel. Change careers if you can't handle the fact that that is changing.

@Anonymous on Mar 27, 2012 at 07:49 AM-- Oh, I remember quite well. How about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.). She knew where she wanted to place the blame for high gas prices. “The price of oil is at the doorstep -- 4 dollars plus per gallon for oil, is attributed to two oil men in the White House,” Pelosi said in a CNN interview on July 17th, 2008. She and her cohorts actually opened investigations trying to prove Bush and Cheney were responsible for price gouging. Oddly, Pelosi is noticably silent about gas prices now. Just do a little research and you will see that there was no reluctance at all, by the media and the democrats,to blame Bush at that time.

That does not matter one whit. The fact remains that people here still want to whine about low cost fuel. In fact the taxes we pay on fuel should be higher. Much higher.

What an insightful comment. I agree. Great post. These people with these Navigators and Yukons and Cadillac Escalades shouldn't complain AT ALL.

I drive, A LOT, for work because people like you have no skills, or lack the education to accomplish what you want done. Is it cool with you that I add my mileage expenses on to your bill when I have to visit your house? And, since you drive something with no horsepower and you need services or something hauled...ok if I add my expenses again? Of course, I will add overhead and profit into the scenario as well, still ok?

Maybe if people showed as much concern about the economy and price gouging as they do about the Stand Your Ground law, perhaps we could start getting some relief.
