And the people who think they might need a gun but haven't yet are all paranoid kooks -- get rid of those kooks and there wouldn't be any bad things anywhere.

Yeah, score a big moral victory for the libtards there, huh. I can hear them discussing it now; "A tragedy she's dead, but at least she wasn't carrying a gun." "Yes, guns are very dangerous. (Pops another Xanax.)"

You can have anything you want in your car as long as no one knows about it. I was a student once taking night classes and I had a weapon in my car. I didn't go around announcing it or showing it off, but it was there if I needed it. Also concealed weapons are not specific to guns. You have a pocket knife? Thats a concealed weapon. FYI

Ain't she a Rehwinkle? That would like the exact opposite of a Yankee.

"I'm more afraid of law enforcement than thugs." I'm right there with you!

Why do my wife and I have CCW permits? To abide by the law. Why do we carry concealed? To have whatever it takes to protect ourselves against those who would harm us. Yes, we are members of the NRA and we spend at least three days week at the range practicing. The scary thing about most CCW permit carriers is that they do not spend enough time at the range practicing with their firearm to be proficient when the time comes to use it and this will not be in their favor.

According to the last FBI report of criminal statistics and a recent study by Tulane University, the violent crime rate among holders of cancealed carry permits is 1/10th that of non permit holders and the gun crime rate is 1/100th! Sounds like we're safer with more permit holders than less...

Libtards like the idea that anyone who accesses the liberal's holy ground (FSU campus) must be clean of the Evil Gun not only on campus, but during the whole day. Too bad Cheryl Dunlap did not have a gun the day she met Gary Hilton, and he killed her -- oh, wait, she had to park her van on campus -- so she wasn't allowed to have one...

911 operator is NOT a sworn law enforcement official. Operator might make a suggestion but that's not an "authority instruction" (what ever that is). Others report that Mr. Zimmerman was returning to his vehicle when he was confronted by Mr. Martin.

Disobeyed a verbal order from who? 911? 911 is not the police, they have no authority to give legal orders because they cannot know the entire situation.

@parastudent: Might want to verify your info. The media did not release ALL of the 911 taped call. Once told "We don't need o to do that" by the 911 dispatcher, Zimmerman said "OK" and was returning to his vehicle, and asked to be called on his cell by the police once they arrived. Also in his interrogation by the police, and according to witnesses (that's more than one) he was observed by the witnesses as on the ground with young Mr Martin on top "beating him." Upon arrival by Sanford police, Zimmerman was observed with a "bloody nose, blood on the back of his head and right hand." But then having facts before spouting is typical MSM and liberals...oops, sory they ar eboth one and the same.
