Tallahassee Professional Firefighters Endorse Varn

A local union has made an endorsement in the race for Leon County Commission seat one. The Tallahassee Professional Firefighters announced today they're backing Fred Varn.
Varn appeared with members of the union at the Florida Press Center Monday. They said Varn's commitment to being around the fire department and public safety lead them to their endorsement.
"It's important that we have these elected officials that are not just making decisions based on numbers and budgets but they're out here to really get the in and outs of the operation when it comes to public safety," said Union President Jarvis Bedford.
Tallahassee Professional Firefighters have already endorsed Scott Maddox in the race for the Tallahassee City Commission Seat One.
