I always wondered why orlando or miami isnt the capital of florida. They get all the good entertainment at their arenas, more places to go, places of interest like disneyworld etc..

Such is life. Better you learn now while you're young. But don't blame the citizens, blame the idiots that killed a kid.

I have lived in this community all of my life and I am very saddened to see all of us torn apart by the senseless tragedy experienced by our young people. I would hate to be a young person right now. So much hatred and animosity. It is so easy to place blame. Finger pointing and sarcasm comes easy for some. The Marching 100 should be reinstated. We must move forward. Do not penalize hard working students and staff for the actions of a few. I am not naieve enough to believe that all of Florida's other universities are perfect--don't you be fooled either.

All of you want the FAMU band suspended but what about all of us incoming students that had nothing to do with this? What about all of us students that have aspired to march with this band for years? What about all of us that are out of state students and NEED a band scholarship to help offset the costs of college? None of you think of that... Food For Thought...

Suspend the Marching Band for 5 years. FAMU needs to clean up their act. It was supposed to be the Marching 100, not 400 If it's FAMU's band, the members should be FAMU students. Where was the oversight? The Band Director was in charge, he should be fired and forfeit his pension.
