Leon Co. Health Dept. Holds Back-to-School Immunization Clinics

Leon County, Florida - June 6, 2012 -
Parents are urged to get their children immunized now, before the end-of-summer back-to-school rush. Students entering kindergarten or 7th grade next school year must have certain immunization documentation on file at school before classes begin in August.
The Leon County Health Department provides free childhood immunizations, including back-to-school immunizations, Monday through Friday by appointment. In addition, in June and early July, the Health Department will provide three special extended hours immunization clinics targeting students, high school age and younger, needing immunizations for school attendance. Immunizations will be provided by appointment during the free clinics listed below:

All children receiving immunizations through the Health Department must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Parents should bring a copy of their child’s complete immunization record.
