Maybe she didn't want to get out because walking home at night didn't appeal to her and they were married, so odds are, it was her car too? I might be dead wrong, but no where in the article does it imply or state that there was any physical altercation going on prior to him pushing her out of the car. It was an argument. People argue all the time and no one gets pushed out of a car.

I must be missing something in the articles. I didn't see anything that stated or implied that she ever touched him. The articles state he accused her of cheating and they were arguing. That sounds like a verbal altercation, not a physical one. Or at least not a physical one until he hit the gas and pushed her out of the car...

Stand your ground should be his defense because he was in danger.

Yes, I'd say he stood his ground and was acting in self defense.

It's always better to talk things over if you don't get along. This shouldn't be an option for disagreeing or at least should be the very last resort to solving an argument.

Choices matter, especially when you are a parent. What about her kids? How are they doing. How are those injuries effecting them. Your choices matter. if not to you, to your children, who will be impacted if you choose to stay, when you are given the oppertunity to get out.

What about her? How is she doing? It sounded like she had pretty serious injuries

You condone the behavior when you stay in the car. I am not the one that stayed in the car.

And you apparently are one of those who condone these men who abuse women. You are a very sad person who actually accepts this kind of behavior from anyone, male or female.

Usually men are stronger than women. I would think he could have at least stopped the car and contained her by restraining her in some way while a bystander called police.

I don't think if she was wailing licks on him he could have stopped the car and walked away. I think she would had persued him. I don't think she wanted to to be seperated from his presence. And the reason I think that is because she brought her feet back in and shut the door, instead of getting out when her feet were already out

If someone is actively being attacking can the victim easily walks away or will they be persued by the attacker? Is it reasonable for the victim to rationalize they can be persued more easily by thier attacker if they are on foot vs if they are in a car and the assiliant is on foot? If you are actively being attack and you tell your atttacker to hold on for a minute you want to make a quick call, will the attacker let you make the call?
