This is no different than donor finding a loophole to make sure that excessive funds are given to a particular candidate. With the early voting taking place, five days before the election probably would not have been important. Get over the election and realize that changes are coming to Florida.

It isn't about whether or not the flyers helped him get elected or not. It's about the illegal contribution. If this stands, then any corporation can make a last minute contribution knowing that there will only be a 10% fine, which for many is a very good pay-off for helping "their guy" get elected with a illegal contribution.

I do not think spending money on flyers help people to voite for a candidate. As a matter fact, most times the flyers are thrown in the trash. This gentleman needs to get some help with his problem. He is costing the people of Leon County too much money in defending accusations that have been addressed and resolved. If he is such an ethical person, why won't he put his time in helping the people of the state. This is an abuse of the system and I think she should be fined for taking up the court's time with an accusation when he does not get the answer he wants. He has to understand that potential voters will tell a candidate anything, but it only counts when they enter the voting booth and make their decision. This is the school yard bully who is use to getting his way and he lost.

No ethics. The ethics commission is a joke. We need some ethic laws that are criminal. This ethics commission is just something set up by the elite as a go between to avoid if they get caught for a wrong-doing being charged with a potential crime. It's just a game they play with your political offices. Is the mayor still using his police escort? Like to one from FAMU to FSU football game. Kinda like to president or the pope......
