Man Arrested for Scaring School Children with Explosives

A man is behind bars today after threatening to scare school children with explosives.

Perry Police officials say 50-year-old James Bundrick threatened to plant hoax devices around multiple Taylor County Schools.

Within minutes of the threat police arrested Bundrick. All schools were notified and remained cautious.

How did police get the tip? Well, Bundrick called them himself.

"The person that called was James Bundrick and he was advising that it would be neat or cool to place devises around the schools that would smoke and explode to scare the kids," said Captain Jamie Cruse, Perry Police Department.

Bundrick is being held without bond at the Taylor County Jail.
