I think that we al have to look deep inside and remember when we did something horribly wrong or were about to. Of course its wrong but the circumstances do matter after all this is why we have temporary insanity pleas while that does not apply to this case. Our economy had turned many people they just have not been caught yet.

Another former city employee who was a loser in
that job while draining the city coffers for waste,
is now finishing off the taxpayers at the county
coffers.
They could fire half of these freeloaders in that
office and they would never be missed.
How can so much corruption continue year after year,
and no law enforcement ever does anything?
Are they all in Vegas in a hot tub, draining
off martinis?

How much does it cost to run back to Mexico? She had been doing this for many months!

Zero. People have gotten their license suspended in error. In the Clerk's Office they take that VERY seriously! It's nice to know, Natty, that you have obviously NEVER made a mistake in your lifetime, or misspelled a word.

Frank, as stated, please CHECK YOUR FACTS before making statements about things you know, obviously, nothing about. I am a state employee (who hasn't had a raise in years). My daughter works very hard for the Clerk's Office, and they suffered a long time with furloughs in their office. Mr Inzer did that so that they could all keep a job. They were grateful to keep a job! Mr. Inzer tries very hard to take care of his employees. He cannot pay large salaries, but does try to foster a good environment. One person DOES NOT make them all bad!

If you aren't satisfied with your wage, you can leave. There is nothing in your contract that requires you to get an automatic cost of living wage increase. There is for social security, and many feel that they are entitled to one as well, but you're wrong. I have had wage increases in the last 7 years, but I also improved myself, and worked hard. Many State employees do not do what is necessary to get promoted or get more rate, and then they complain about not getting a raise!

If you want a certain wage don't accept less. People work 2 jobs because they can't or won't get a job that pays what they want. It is not the employers fault. The employer pays a wage, and if 50 people apply, then why should he pay more! If it is a specialized job, and only 1 or 2 people apply, then there is room for the applicant to negotiate a beter wage, but this is only if the applicant is qualified. If you are only qualified to perform a minimum wage job, then there is so much competition for jobs that you may have to work 2 jobs to buy what you want.
