Why does Jesse Jackson feel he has to remind the police to do their job? If he believes the police force to be incompetent or not pursuing the case based on racial motives, then let him come out and say that instead of this vague and insulting letter with its hint of impending melodrama. I'm getting real sick and tired of all of these "special interest" groups. There's so many of them, and all of them want resources and recognition. Whatever happened to the idea of equality? I guess it went the way of unbiased journalism.
All deaths may not generate the same attention but all are important and if for whatever reason our civil, human, women, elderly, religious leaders and others fail come to our community when others die or mistreated. Then let our humanity to man and women reach out beyond our human failures that includes all of us. Then let us reside under the roof of loving and wanting for our neighbors the same things we want and have for oursleves. Yeah we do know the pain they are going through.Do you think this is the first family to have a member killed?What is very painful is that other people DO know the pain they are going through,but you and this family don't seem to know what pain other families go through because for some reason this family thinks their situation deserves more attention than the other's.This family wants special treatment.This family wants it to be labeled a hate crime and they don't even have a suspect.What's makes this family so special?
Where was Jesse Jackson when Elijah James killed Danielle Brown or Javier ?? who killed Ashley - of course they were white victims with black killers. That doesn't count. If also doesn't count when young black men killed old white people. Leave Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton out of this - it was most likely drug related and while we are sorry for your family, everything that happens is not about race. By the way, Jesse and Al don't show up when it is black on black crime or murder. They are attention hounds and the only agenda they are pushing is their own fame.
