Maybe the bear was looking for some liquor it being a dry county. This stuff is considered news in that county?

I've lived here all my life and never seen a bear, have heard of them being spotted in the Greenville area for years. Saw very large FL panther cross ahead of us on the road while traveling with parents as a child, also heading toward Greenville.

I wish they ate political signs instead of stuff out of the trash containers. They would be our heros then.

It wasn't really a bear. It was a sasquatch.

WoW, there are black bears spotted all over Wakulla county everyday eating out of people trash containers. Should we move all the bears? There are so many black bears in florida that the stat is considering opening a bear hunting season. But I've never heard of the bears attacking a person. What's the problem other than people are taking over the bears home like what happen to the indians.

This is news? It's not at all uncommon to spot black bears in the rural areas of the panhandle.
