You said all that to say what????? Nothing!!! What does social repression or Caucasians have to do with anything I said. I'm not blaming anyone for the non-Famu students marching in the band...It's no secret that FAMU has allowed musicians from TCC and FSU to march in the band. Yes I agree that they "dropped the ball" for not verifying that the non-students where properly enrolled in the one required course in order to march...but it's very apparent that these adults made some very bad decisions which has nothing to do with Dr.White nor Dr. Ammons.... On another note Reading and Comprehension are fundamental!!

Yes he has had an evaluation, he's had one every year to be exact....and as far as your comment regarding the "school teaching anyone", administrators don't teach; Professors are in charge of that mam; that's where you people are confused. Yes the administration may have their share of problems, but that has nothing to do what is being taught in the classroom by the professors. Maybe you've been brainwashed into to believing that everything is bad at FAMU. Research the academic programs and then comment!!!

Delusional much??? Why would ANYONE want FAMU..disgusting! And, no, You (Nor your race) are capable of managing yourselves; That has been proven time and time again, over the centuries.

I work with several "grads" from FAMU. You can tell they pass out a lot of diplomas to people that spend time warming a chair. Some of these people barely speak English.

Translation please. Didn't pay much attention in ENG 101 did you?

I guess they also did a fine job choosing the 100 band members that are not even students at FAMU. I'm curious who do you feel is responsible for them being there? Caucasians? Social Repression? Being captured and sold by their fellow tribesmen ten generations before their "birth"? For heavens sake, PLEASE stop being part of the problem.

It will take months because there is a lot of dirt to dig up.

What has happened at FAMU isn't anything new that hasn't transpired at some other Florida schools of higher learning. You must think outside the box, too, on this matter. Yes, I regret this fine drum major lost his life, and my condolences go to his family. Allthough the underlying fact here is FSU wants FAMU's campus, and I believe they will use any opportunity to smear
FAMU's leadership across the pages of the newspapers and the media suggesting that we are incapable of managing our university. The FSU alumni seems to be running the entire city of Tallhassee, if not the state, so what do you think is the alterant motive?
Does FSU own the Civic Center now? Do you think the
revitalization of Gaines Street and that area is to benefit FAMU with the tactics that are being used against it? Think about it. Since the 60's we have been fighting to save FAMU from the claws of FSU, we still must. Yes, Dr. Ammons should keep his job, and we need to rally support for him, or would you rather
see one of another race at the helm of this fine, historical Black university? I think not! We are more
than capable of managing ourselves.

This just keeps getting funnier. SERIOUSLY, you need 5 months to develop an evaluation and carry out that evaluation. The evaluations process is specified in his contract. How many years has Ammoms been President? Shouldn't he have had at least one of these evaluations. Reckon they need that much time to come up with a story and rehearse it so they all say the same thing... .
He can't allow the evaluation to go through. Hazing (at professors homes, apartments, busses, etc.), murder, non-students getting (my federal tax dollar) to travel, beat and kill another student(s).
My personal role with FAMU was to purchase dual enrollment textbooks for our high school students. They attended TCC, FSU and FAMU. I did this for 23 years. I think I paid FAMU 3 times during that time frame. NEVER had trouble with billing from other stores. The last manager I talked to told me not to worry about it, they would just write it off.
And this school has the audacity to think it can teach anyonep. What makes matters worse is that you have them brainwashed (vibrating band perhaps) into thinking they are smart. Read some of your FAMU graduate/student's posts. IT MAKES NO SENSE999
Then we come To the mismanagement of money. FAMU could not manage their way out of a paper bag. Scholarships, Bright Futures and any other financial aid duelly earned by the student is withheld for a vast excuse. Most of the time they get it right before the semester.

Personally, I think that Dr. Ammons has and is doing a good job at FAMU. It's very unfortunate that these hazing incidents/death occurred during his tenure, but I don't think he nor Dr. White should be the ones to blame for the actions of adults who willingly broke the law, including the hazees. Most, if not all hazing incidents occur OFF CAMPUS in private locations. There is no way that you can control or stop that. The people to blame are currently awaiting trial...Hazing would not exist if consenting adults wouldn't volunteer to be hazed, point blank period!!! Up until now, no one questioned his leadership skills, he's the scapegoat for adults making the wrong decisions. Keep up the good work Dr. Ammons!!! Famu today!!! Famu Tommorrow!!! Famu Forever!!!

When you go to school on someone else's dime and hard work you do not have appreciation for the school or the education they are giving you because it is not you who had to personally work and sacrifice to get to go to that school. So you don't care if you see other students damaging that schools reputation because it is not you who are loosing anything financially. Someone else has paid for your education and as a result you don't respect what they are paying for. You don't value it.

They do not have to pay for their education. The government pays it for them. Nobody personally working and going to school to pay his or her personal 10,000.00 a yr tuition allows fellow students to destroy the schools reputation that they are working to get a degree from. Nobody does that unless someone else is paying their way.
