Important Voter Information Mailed Out

Supervisor of Elections Ion Sancho will deliver approximately 170,000 envelopes of new voter information cards to the US Post Office for the registered voters of Leon County.

Each voter will receive an envelope as featured below, containing a letter explaining the change, a map to the voter's polling place, and the new voter information card. This new card replaces any previous card received through the years from the Supervisor of Elections Office, as it contains the new congressional, legislative, county commission and school board districts created by redistricting.

Voters will want to look for this piece of important mail, open it immediately, and check their political party affiliation; the deadline is July 16, 2012 to make any changes for the partisan races on the upcoming Primary Election. The Primary Election is August 14, 2012.
