WCTV has an opening for our Sports Director/Anchor.
This person anchors our 5, 5:30 pm, 6pm and 11pm newscasts Monday-Friday. He/She will also anchor the Fox 10:00 News. WCTV’s Sports Director oversees all sports coverage. This individual must have several years of sports anchoring experience. He/She must know how to shoot, edit, produce and report.
This individual must be active and knowledgeable of social media with the expectation that content, updates, and information will be posted on WCTV.TV as well as Facebook and Twitter. Must be flexible with scheduling due to the ever-changing nature of sports journalism. Must be organized, energetic, and a team player. Must be able to travel.
Must be able to edit on a non-linear edit system, knowledge of CMS-based systems and knowledge of iNews is preferred.
