No Band No Problem for FAMU Alumni

Tallahassee, FL - As FAMU Football Alumni reminisce about the past, new stories start taking precedence. Next year, gameday will be without the famous Marching 100.

"There are a few dark clouds right now but we will get through it.," said Curtis Taylor, an alum from 1972-75. "We need people to still support our athletic program."

The former Rattlers players gathered on Wednesday evening at Bragg Memorial Stadium. They were shooting a promotional video to encourage fans to buy season tickets.

"We're going through some hard times right now and we don't need folks to bail out on us," said Maurice Freeman, an alum from 1983-87.

Although the band will be missing in Section Q of the stadium, alumni say it shouldn't deter fans from watching the game.
