First of all, get your facts straight! Were u at the school when the fight happended and your daughter was ran over? The fight didn't take place and it wasn't the majority of the football players. But you just like the others are going by what the street committee is saying. My boys are on the team and no one has to give them their grades, both of them maintain their grades even if they're not playing sports. A teacher has never had to call me to the school for either of my boys. I support the coach, principal and teachers, have always been involved in the school system. Fights have been going on at the school long before now, some that are even unknown or kept quiet. So by should the finger just be pointed at the coach. But since no one knows first hand what Coach Brown has done for these young men, then i guess all you can do is assume the worse!

Who cares? You see only what you want to see. Where was the football coach when a fight broke out in the weight room at the old high school. The next day the majority of football players was involved in a fight on the campus. Some of them ran over my daughter to get to the fight.
Football is an extra curricular activity where a student needs a certain grade point average to play. Too bad many of them cannot reach that without a grade change.
You support the coach on his decision to leave, but do you support the teachers that have to deal with the rudeness of the football players? I doubt it.

Time for Jefferson County voters to wake up and rid the school system of the entire School Board. Your actions show that you care nothing about these kids or this community. Resign or be voted out--your decision.

The Jefferson County School Board does not understand the importance of working together as a team. They are a group of individuals with self serving motives. Coach Brown was a good person and a good Coach. He did an outstanding job of working with those students and parents in Jefferson County. However, his efforts, dedication and commitment to the athletic program were not appreciated by the School Board. I support him on his decision to leave and I wish the best for continued success for him and his family. Shame on you Jefferson County!!

Another blow to Jefferson County. The school board should be ashamed of itself. To lose such a great mentor and coach is terrible. Those who cast stones should not be living in glass houses!!! Good luck to you and your family Coach Brown, you all were an asset to our community and will be greatly and forever missed!!!!
