LARGO, Fla. (AP) -- A Pinellas County judge sentenced 18-year-old Miterrio Banks and 19-year-old Cory Rocker Friday. They were both convicted last month of first-degree murder.
Prosecutors said the two men lured 18-year-old Brennon Darvane
Days into what they claimed was a drug deal in January 2008 but
really was a robbery.
Authorities identified Banks as the shooter, but Rocker was also
charged with the murder because he participated in the robbery that
led to Day's death.
