JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) _ Police say a Jacksonville man was shot twice by undercover officers and another is still at large after a drug investigation gone bad.
Police say 19-year-old Johnny Smith pulled a gun on the two undercover officers during a drug buy last night. Officers then shot Smith and another man, who fled.
The two officers were not hurt in the shooting. They are on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation.
Smith is in stable condition. He faces charges of armed robbery and possession and sale of drugs.
This is the 15th police-involved shooting in Jacksonville this year.
