Former Senator Will Teach at Georgia Law School

ATLANTA (AP) _ University of Georgia officials say former
Senator Wyche Fowler will teach a course for the School of Law
during the spring semester 2008.

Fowler will teach a course on Congress and the Constitution. The Georgia Democrat served in the U.S. House from 1977 until his election to the Senate nine years later. He was a senator until 1993, serving as assistant floor leader.

Fowler was later named U.S. ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia.

He now works for an international business and law practice and
is chairman of the board of the Washington, D.C.-based Middle East
Institute.
