SALT LAKE CITY (AP) _ Authorities in Utah are putting an
investigation of a state trooper into high gear, after video of the
officer zapping a driver with a Taser ended up on YouTube.
The video shows the trooper firing the Taser after the driver
refused to sign a traffic ticket and walked away.
The driver posted the video on the Web site after it was
released to him under a public records request.
According to a Utah Highway Patrol spokesman, an internal
investigation is under way and police have received ``a lot of
feedback on the incident.''
Neither the trooper or the driver could be reached for comment.
