JACKSON, Miss. (AP) _ The FBI is stepping in to help search for
a Mississippi college student, who vanished more than a week ago.
Latasha Norman was last seen at the end of a class November
13th. She seen with a pad and pencil, covering stories for the
Norman had filed police reports in recent weeks after someone
slashed her tires and stole her license plate. And the
20-year-old's ex-boyfriend is facing charges for attacking her.
As soon her father heard that she hadn't returned to her dorm
room, he says he traveled to Jackson State University. He describes
her as a ``private person.'' The dean of the university's business
school says the accounting major was always hauling around a stack
Campus and city police say they've had dozens of calls on the
case, but have gotten no where. An FBI spokesman says he hopes a
fresh set of eyes'' will help drum up leads.
