ASPEN, Colo. (AP) _ It appears even a Saudi prince can't escape
the sluggish U.S. housing market.
Prince Bandar bin Sultan had offered up his palatial Aspen,
Colorado, estate for a whopping 135 million dollars. But, sticker
shock has gotten the best of potential buyers.
The Aspen Daily News reports that the 56,000 square foot mansion
got no suitable offers and is off the market.
Real estate experts had said that if the 15 bedroom, 16 bathroom
property sold near asking price, it could set a U.S. record.
