Man Charged After Roommate Accidentally Killed

KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) _ Police in Kennesaw say a man is facing charges after his roommate was accidentally shot and killed.

20-year-old Matthew Luke Melde has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of 24-year-old Adam S. Daniel.

Investigators say the two friends, along with another roommate, were playing with guns in their home Sunday afternoon.

Kennesaw police spokesman Scott Luther says Melde was pointing a
gun at Daniel when it went off, hitting Daniel in the chest. He was
pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Unfortunately, people should have ALL the facts. Again, unfortunately, the media does not always present them. Before one posts opinions, one should be informed of the matter. I only regret that the families of both the victim and Matthew will have to read the stupidy and ignorance of others.

What were they thinking. Why in the world would you point a gun at someone whether or not you thought the gun was loaded. This is why some people should not be aloud to have guns. What such stupidity.
