Two swimmers drowned in rough waters off Panama City beach and at least seven others were pulled from the Gulf of Mexico on the Panhandle.
Authorities said a man and woman drowned and another person was taken to a bay County Hospital on Wednesday. Names of the victims have not been released.
Double red flags, which indicate that all swimmers need to stay out of the water, are flying on Panama City Beach.
