Gwinnett County Fire Department spokesman Capt. Tommy Rutledge says the body was found early Sunday inside the Oakbrook Pointe apartments where 10 of the 20 units were destroyed in the blaze Saturday afternoon.
The mother of the missing 3-year-old and the woman's other child, a 1-year-old, were the only injuries reported in the blaze.
The baby suffered burns and was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. The mother had unspecified injuries and was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center.
The victims' identities were not immediately released.
