MIAMI (AP) — Two men suspected of beating a South Floirda man to death during a home invasion have been arrested in Orlando.
Records show 21-year-old Rafael Aguilera and 37-year-old Felix Soto were booked into the Orange County Jail on Wednesday. They were awaiting extradition to Miami-Dade County.
Police say they are suspected in the June 15 slaying of 23-year-old Giancarlo Castillo in Cutler Bay, just south of Miami. A Miami-Dade judge had issued warrants earlier for their arrests.
Investigators believe Aguilera and Soto were two of three men who stormed Castillo's house. He and two other men were beaten. Castillo died of his injuries. Authorities have not released a motive.
