MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (AP) - There are those with a passion about art, and a man at the Milwaukee Art Museum showed his about a 17th century oil painting.
Officials at the museum say the man took the painting off the wall yesterday and kicked it repeatedly because he was disturbed by the image.
The man did serious damage to the $300,000 painting, which depicts the end of the biblical tale of David and Goliath. Officials say they are confident the museum can repair the painting. It's too early to estimate the cost of repairs.
