SNOW CREEK, Va. (AP) _ A Christian congregation near Roanoke, Virginia, plans to move ahead with remaining Easter week services despite the killing of their minister.

The Reverend Nancy Copin, minister of a tiny rural congregation in Snow Creek, Virginia, was found dead in her church's parsonage Thursday, and investigators say it was a homicide.

Michael Doyle, an elder in the Snow Creek Christian Church, tells the Roanoke Times that remaining services "may just be us all hugging each other and crying.'' He adds that Copin would be disappointed if services weren't held.

Officials in Franklin County say Copin died from blunt force trauma wounds, and authorities are still investigating the scene. The body was found Thursday when visitors found a back door unlocked and felt something was wrong.
