JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - More than 30 men have been charged in a prostitution sting in Jacksonville.
Police say 33 men were arrested after the three-day undercover operation using ads for an escort service. The ads were found on an online classifieds site and in the local newspaper.
Police say the men would meet an undercover officer posing as a prostitute at a motel and offer them money in exchange for sex.
Among those arrested on soliciting prostitution charges were business executives, Navy men, a firefighter and a former high school basketball coach.
