POWDER SPRINGS, Ga. (AP) -- Cobb County police told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that 47-year-old Pennie Ann Cearfoss of Dallas, Ga. died at the scene. Her son, 17-year-old Joshua Cearfoss was flown to an Atlanta Hospital after the Friday afternoon accident. He is listed in critical condition.
Police said the accident occurred on Lost Mountain Road when a
Jeep Comanche made a left turn and pulled into the path of a Chevrolet Blazer driven by Pennie Cearfoss. The Blazer then collided with another vehicle and overturned.
At least three other injuries were reported.
