ATLANTA (AP) --
A Georgia licensing board will investigate claims that a Shiloh High School Teacher of the Year accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student violated the Code of Ethics for Educators.
Twenty-nine-year-old Kennon Aampay Hall is accused of having a
six-month sexual relationship with a Gwinnett County football
player who came to her for homework help. Authorities say the
affair included trysts in a classroom.
Hall could lose her teaching certificate if found guilty of
professional misconduct.
The Gwinnett County Public Schools police force is still
investigating Hall, who resigned citing medical reasons during a
human resources investigation into her conduct. The Associated
Press could not locate a phone number for Hall Thursday evening.
