POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- The Broward Sheriff's Office is still
searching for a suspect who they believe shot two men and sparked a
SWAT team operation at a Pompano Beach home.
The sheriff's office says 26-year-old James Jackson and
21-year-old Marc Wilhelm were taken to a local hospital for
treatment after the Sunday morning shooting. The South Florida Sun
Sentinel reports that Jackson and Wilhelm are expected to recover
from their injuries.
Authorities on Tuesday were still searching for the suspected
gunman in the shooting. The suspect was believed to be inside a
Pompano Beach residence Sunday, but authorities didn't find him
when they entered the house.
