BUNNELL, Fla. (AP) -- Two married Bunnell police officers have
been arrested and charged with official misconduct.
The couple, 47-year-old Lt. John Murray and 41-year-old Cpl.
Lisa Murray, turned themselves in Wednesday. Jail records show that
John Murray was charged with official misconduct, grand theft,
tampering with physical evidence and possession of cocaine. Lisa
Murray was charged with two counts of official misconduct.
Prosecutors say the couple helped benefit the towing business of
a Bunnell city commissioner by threatening an employee and manager
at a car sales lot.
John Murray was released on $10,000 bail and Lisa Murray was on
$5,000 bail.
Jail officials did not know the name of their attorney.
No working phone listing for the couple could be found.
