ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- A central Florida woman has been sentenced
to 20 years for fatally stabbing her boyfriend.
An Orange County judge sentenced 38-year-old Michelle Wheeler on
Tuesday. She pleaded no contest to manslaughter with a weapon as
part of a plea deal. She had originally been charged with
second-degree murder.
Authorities say Wheeler stabbed 37-year-old Jerry Cisco in the
chest following a January 2009 domestic disturbance in Ocoee. He
was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.
