High Crude Oil Prices Put Pressure on Gas Prices

Following the Labor Day holiday, gas prices continue to creep up and additional price increases are likely.

An official at AAA says, low gasoline inventories and high crude oil prices will likely place upward pressure on gas prices this week.

Current gas averages are:

National: $2.83
Florida: $2.79
Georgia: $2.70

being have worked for a local service station and pumping gas, i feel it is the public's right to know... owners of gas stations and convenant stores make an average 27 to 33 cents profit from each gallon of gas sold. Most of which you have to pump yourself. when you think about how much gas is sold each day. That adds up to a "pretty dollar". so when they say their're not making any money off the gas..... BULL............
