MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- A homeless man has been charged with setting fire to a Miami Beach bus shelter.

Police arrested 44-year-old Cedric Jones on Tuesday and charged him with first-degree arson to an occupied structure. Officers had been looking for him since last week, when he reportedly used gasoline and matches to set fire to a bus shelter where four people were sitting.

Police say Jones was described by witnesses and picked up on video. He was arrested after officers saw him at another bus
shelter.

When Jones was arrested, he reportedly told officers that he set
the structure on fire because a bus driver refused to give him a
ride.

Jones was being held without bail.
