BELLE GLADE, Fla. (AP) -- A 6-year-old boy was shot in Belle
Glade when someone opened fire on a car in which he was riding.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office reports that Tinoris
Williams Jr. of a red Infiniti Monday night when someone shot at
the car. Authorities believe the shooter or shooters might have
mistaken the Infinity for a red Lexus that had reportedly been
involved in another shooting about a half hour earlier at the same
The boy was hit in the shoulder by bullet fragments. He was
taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not considered
life-threatening. Three other were in the car.
No arrests had been made in the shooting
