MIAMI (AP) -- A Miami police officer reportedly shot a man during
a traffic stop.
Police say two officers in a single patrol car pulled over the
motorist Monday around noon. The man reportedly got out of his
vehicle, and at some point, one of the officers shot him. The man
was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
A police spokesman says details are scarce, because they are
only in the preliminary stages of the investigation.
The officer who fired the shot has not been identified.
