RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Authorities are working to identify
the body of a man found decomposing in a Riviera Beach alley.

An autopsy will be performed by the medical examiner to also
determine the cause of death.

The man's body was found Wednesday morning by a city worker
patrolling the alley for garbage and debris. Authorities say the
body was there for days. Neighbors had noticed a foul smell and
searched the area for what they thought a dead animal but never
found the decomposing body.
