BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) --
A South Florida man has confessed to stabbing his former lover to death with a fishing knife more than two years after the crime.
Twenty-four year-old Juan Carlos Atenco-Camacho told Boca Raton
Police he went to Naum Mendez's apartment in 2008 and that Mendez
begged him to leave his wife and baby so they could be together.
Atenco-Camacho refused and the pair drove to an empty trailer where
he said he stabbed Mendez after Mendez attacked him.
Atenco-Camacho was charged Thursday with first-degree murder.
It's unclear if he has an attorney.
According to an arrest report, he took detectives to the road
where he says he dumped Mendez's body. The body has not been found.
