The carnival dream returned to Port Canaveral with a few new passengers from the FBI. Investigators spent the day looking for clues after they say a new-born baby was found dead, aboard the ship.

"It's horrible, but we had no idea there was no reference to that whatsoever," says Mary Younger, Cruise Ship Passenger.

Mary Younger was aboard Carnival Cruiseline's "Carnival Dream" - the same ship the Federal Bureau of Investigation tells Fox35 a new-born baby was found dead in a guest cabin.

Investigators say an employee on the vessel found the full-term newborn and notified police, right away. They say the mother, is a 20-year-old U.S. citizen, not from Florida, and was a passenger on the cruise-ship.

Carnival Cruiseline tells us Carnival Dream set sail a week ago to the eastern Caribbean, The Bahamas, St. Thomas and St. Martin, where the ship was on Wednesday. The same day the baby was found.

Even if this is a stillborn, how could she just leave a baby to rot while she enjoys her vacation? Other newsites say the baby could have been dead up tp 3 days. This is horrible how some people can defend these stupid girls who dump babies. Sceared and alone is no excuse, nothing justifies killing a child, especially with all the options out there. They are not the victims, the baby is the true victim. This is a life, not garbage! These "mothers" are nothing but garbage themselves. A baby has to die all because they needed to have sex. She wanted to play, then she can pay! And 20 years old is an ADULT! She knew what she was doing.

Yes, there is a hospital and firemen on board. I agree the full story is needed, but if it is neglect or murder, either way it is unacceptable. EXICUTION OF LIFE IS NOT A CHOICE! no matter what choices you have made in your life, we all need to take responsibility.

It's absolutely disgusting that these stupid young mothers will kill their baby's over giving them up for adoption. When turning an unwanted child into a fire-station or the police or a hospital to spare their innocent young lives and give them a fighting chance. SHAME ON YOU Young "mothers" for thinking of yourselves first.

Yeah, cause your attitude will DEFINITELY make a young, scared, in-trouble girl come forward. I am deeply saddened by this story, but again, unless you've been a pregnant teen/20-something who already had a child out of wedlock and left it at a fire-station, I'd say you have NO idea what you're talking about.

there are a thousand things that could have been going through that young girls head, who the hell are you to speak of her that way. Yes, what happened is tragic, but what is truly DISGUSTING is your lack of knowledge and understanding, of the meer fact, that the girl simply could have been suffereing from stress, after suddenly giving birth. Someone with mental illness also should not be called 'disgusting' for some of the choices they make. YOU are a sick individual, who clearly has some skeletons in their closet, to be SO quick to judge a young woman in such a sad time. YOU need to take alook in the mirror and sort yourself out before you comment

It is SO SAD to see people do this to newborns, or any child. I cannot have anymore children, and people who can dispose of them, as if they are garbage! I pray they find out what happened to this child.
