The carnival dream returned to Port Canaveral with a few new passengers from the FBI. Investigators spent the day looking for clues after they say a new-born baby was found dead, aboard the ship.
"It's horrible, but we had no idea there was no reference to that whatsoever," says Mary Younger, Cruise Ship Passenger.
Mary Younger was aboard Carnival Cruiseline's "Carnival Dream" - the same ship the Federal Bureau of Investigation tells Fox35 a new-born baby was found dead in a guest cabin.
Investigators say an employee on the vessel found the full-term newborn and notified police, right away. They say the mother, is a 20-year-old U.S. citizen, not from Florida, and was a passenger on the cruise-ship.
Carnival Cruiseline tells us Carnival Dream set sail a week ago to the eastern Caribbean, The Bahamas, St. Thomas and St. Martin, where the ship was on Wednesday. The same day the baby was found.
