The Century Link Internet outages have been a burden for 38 states, including Florida and Georgia. Locally, the Leon County School System is one of many having problems using the internet, and their Virtual school has seen an impact.

"Very frustrating," said Sharron Costello, a Century Link Customer. "My daughter takes school online and we couldn't get on, so I spent a long time checking everything."

Many residents instead have had to rely on wi-fi at coffee shops to get Internet access.
