WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- A South Florida man has been ordered held without bond after being charged in the attempted shooting of two Palm Beach County Sheriff's detectives.
Michael Patterson, of West Palm Beach, has been charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder.
Court documents state that the 22-year-old was driving Thursday in a Lincoln Continental, and maneuvered it so that a passenger could shoot at undercover officers in an unmarked car.
The officers did not fire back and were not injured.
Patterson was denied bond at a court hearing on Saturday.
The shooter remains at large.
